Description
The NIBCO® bronze Y-strainer protects all your equipment through its superior ability to filter solids from flowing streams, gases, or liquid piping systems. The NIBCO Y-strainer is installed going upstream in order to protect your valves, meters, regulators and more from harmful erosion, rust, pipe scale and dirt. These products include two types of wire mesh straining screens. Features 125 PSI & 8.6 bar saturated steam (up to 353°F/178°C) 200 PSI & 13.8 bar non-shock cold working pressure 20-mesh stainless steel wire screen included Solid cap with class 125 threaded end connections Resistant to dezincification Compliant to ANSI B1.20.1 Prohibited from U.S. drinking water use post 1/3/2014 Specifications Includes a screw-in cap Options for cap: tapped cap with blow-off plug or a solid cap Options for screen: 20 mesh stainless steel screen or stainless steel perforated screen Material: Bronze and PTFE Size: 2 1/2 in.
