McCabe's gasoline paste is a light sky blue paste that turns a darker blue when immersed in gasoline, diesel, kerosene, naphtha, #2 heating oil, light crude oil, jet fuel and others. It has a toothpaste like consistency and is packaged in a 4oz./113g. Net Wt. jar. Note: Store between 50 - 85°F (10 - 29 °C). Shelf life is 5 years. Once entering the product, leave immersed for approximately ten seconds and the paste will turn a darker blue. When reading the results, note a straight, sharp demarcation on the gauging device, light blue above/dark blue below. *If the gasoline paste separates over time, stir to remix to its original light sky blue color with a toothpaste like consistency before use.
